The purpose of this Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy" or the "Policy") is, among other things, to explain the Company’s practices regarding the privacy of users of the website operated by the Company at https://www.bsre.co.il, including any other digital platform used by the Company in connection with marketing activities or any other engagement with users (the "Site"), as well as the privacy of the Company’s customers, including tenants, residents, and purchasers, within the scope of all of its business activities, including income-producing real-estate leasing, asset sales, activity as a registration company (חברה משכנת), and other services the Company provides (the "Services").
This Policy is written in the masculine for convenience only and applies equally to all genders.
1. General
1.1. This Privacy Policy forms an integral part of the Company’s website terms of use (the "Terms of Use"), which together constitute a single binding legal agreement between the user and the Company. Capitalized terms used in this Privacy Policy shall have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Use unless expressly stated otherwise herein.
1.2. By using the Site or engaging with the Company to receive its Services, you give your full consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use. 3.3. Statistical Information for information services and traffic analysis, analytics, and Site protection services. 5.1. 7. User Rights
7.1. As a rule, personal information will be retained in the Company’s databases for the period required to respond to the user’s inquiry on the Site and to provide the relevant Service, as applicable, and as long as the Company has a legitimate need or a legal or other obligation to retain it under applicable law. Anonymous information will be retained in the Company’s systems without time limit (unless prohibited by law).
7.2. The Company will allow you to review personal information about you stored in the Company’s database in accordance with applicable law. We will act to fulfill your request to review, correct, update, or delete the information if you find it to be incorrect, inaccurate, or not up to date, in accordance with our legal obligations, by sending a request to the Company by email as detailed below.
7.3. Before we permit you to review and/or update and/or delete the personal information stored about you, additional steps may be required, such as verifying your identity. After receiving a request to review information, we will act to provide you with the requested information within a reasonable time in accordance with applicable law.
7.4. Please note that deletion of personal information as stated may prevent the Company from acting in accordance with the purpose for which the information was provided, such as when contact details were left in connection with interest in the Company’s Services. If you request that the Company delete your personal information, the Company reserves the right—and you hereby consent—to anonymize the personal information.
7.5. Notwithstanding the foregoing, personal information required by the Company for the continued management of its business and/or for a legitimate purpose such as defending against claims, if required, will continue to be retained by the Company for the period required by law; access to such information will be limited to legal or technical needs only.
7.6. You acknowledge and agree that information about you may also be transferred outside the borders of the State of Israel, including for storage and processing, in accordance with applicable law.
8. Direct Marketing and Advertising
8.1. Providing your personal details on the Site, a landing page, within lease or purchase agreements, or by any other means constitutes your explicit consent to receive emails and/or text messages (SMS) from the Company, including service messages (such as messages related to Services provided by the Company, updates regarding the Company’s Services, including additional Services) and messages containing content that constitutes an "advertisement" under Section 30A of the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting), 1982. Such messages may include value offers regarding the Company’s Services and products, relating to products or Services similar to those you consume, including information about the Company’s activity and/or products and Services offered by it, properties for lease or sale, events and conferences, professional reviews, etc., and may be sent by various means including email, electronic message, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, fax, and automatic dialing systems.
8.2. You may, at any time, notify the Company of your wish to be removed from the distribution list for "advertisements" via one of the alternatives specified in the advertisement and/or by contacting us through other communication channels. In such a case, the Company will refrain from sending advertising messages only. For the avoidance of doubt, this does not preclude the Company from sending service messages.
8.3. Some of the Company’s communications to you may be made on a personalized basis, according to belonging to a population group defined by one or more characteristics of persons whose names are included in a database. Under applicable law, you are entitled to request in writing that information relating to you be deleted from the database used for direct mailing.
9. Links to Third-Party Websites
9.1. Certain links on the Site allow you to access websites or online information sources that are not owned by the Company. In addition, as part of the Services, the Company may refer you to external service providers.
